Welcome back to everyone for the academic year 2010, and a big welcome to all new students for this year! This site aims to provide news, information and links that students within the school of Civil and Environmental Engineering will find relevant and of use. Have a browse around, and most importantly stay tuned for details of all the exciting upcoming Cevsoc events.

All students undergraduate and postgraduate within the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UNSW are members of Cevsoc. The society is led by a committee elected by members at the Annual General Meeting (held in October each year).

What is CEVSOC?

CEVSOC is the Civil and Environmental Student Engineering Society at the University of New South Wales. All students within the School at UNSW are members of CEVSOC.

During the year we create some of the best social events on campus, including BBQs, Pub Crawls and our Harbour Cruise. We also put out a fashionable item of clothing (usually a jersey). It's not all social, as CEVSOC also represent the students to the staff of the school in academic matters. We are here as a contact point and to make your student life easier.

CEVSOC has a committee which meets frequently and each year group has a student representative that can tell you what's been going on within the school and what events will be happening. See the events and committee pages for more details.
